Sanitize your hands with soap and warm water to remove any bacteria.
Empty contents of NeilMed Sinus Rinse packet into NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle. Fill bottle with 8 oz. purified warm water. Close lid, and cover opening while shaking bottle to mix water with contents from packet to form saline solution.
Lean forward with your head over sink and tip of NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle into one nostril. Squeeze bottle to allow half of saline solution to flow up into your nostril and out other. Once half of bottle has been emptied, stop and gently blow your nose with tissue to release anything else that is still in your nose. Be sure to not squeeze your nostrils closed while blowing your nose to protect your ear drums.
Repeat previous step with other nostril allowing second nostril to drain.
